A Team Goalkeeper Required
Our Senior Men's A team playing in SIL Division 5 are in search of a goalkeeper for the coming season. An experienced keeper looking for a new challenge or a Junior Keeper looking to make the jump to adult football would be ideal. Any exciting week for the club !
Last week was a very exciting week for the club. Thanks to a Community Development grant from Mid Suffolk Council were have been able to install Solar Panels at the clubhouse to help reduce the cost of our energy bills.
East Green Energy supplied and installed the solar system and we are now delighted to be using solar energy at the club.
This will allow us to focus funds on football development ensuring we can continue to offer our great facilities for children and adults and offer the clubhouse for community clubs and events throughout the year.
We would like to say a big thank you to Mid Suffolk District Council for awarding us this grant which enabled us to go ahead with the project and to East Green Energy who advised us and worked with us on organising and installing the system.
Earlier this year, thanks to another grant, we had a borehole and watering system installed which allow us to keep our pitches in tiptop condition throughout the dry summer months.

Do you have a few spare hours on a Monday morning to join our grounds team?
We are looking for a volunteer grounds person to help keep our award winning football pitches in tip top condition. We have all the kit but need a few more pairs of hands to help!
We are a friendly club and always love to see new faces.
The tasks are cutting the grass, keeping the pitches in good order with other general grounds duties and a little maintenance here and there. There are also plenty of opportunities to have a chat and a cuppa in an informal, happy environment. If you have some free time and are a keen outdoor, hands on type please get in touch and please share this with anyone you feel might be interested.
We meet on Monday mornings but this timing is completely flexible around any time you may be able to offer us.
